DISTRICT DEPUTY AUTHORITY
A District Deputy of an Orient is appointed and serves at pleasure of the Most Puissant Sovereign Grand Commander, Supreme Council of the United States, Western Jurisdiction.
District Deputies are responsible for promoting and advocating the Scottish Rite in their District. The Orient of Virginia (Valley) itself regulates the adminstration of the 4-32 Scottish Rite Degrees.
There are current vacancies for district deputy assigments in the Orient of Virginia. Appointments will be made by the Supreme Council once information is received by the Orient of Virginia or by private nomination of 33' of the Rite. Nominations can only be done with the Western Jurisdiction. secretary@supremecouncilwestern. org
District Deputies you are encouraged to help establsh Eastern Star Chapters within your District. The Supreme Council appreciated the good work and time dedicated to this masonic organization.
