Members of the Orient of Virginia shall assemble in Washington, D.C. for scheduling of date and time for installment of the Interim Deputy of Orient and Grand  Master of the States of Virginia.

Decreed and Affirmed by the Order of the  Supreme Council of the United States, and National Grand of the United States, Western Jurisdiction on this 2nd day of February, In the year of light 6010.

DISTRICT DEPUTY AUTHORITY

A District Deputy of an Orient is appointed and serves at pleasure of the Most Puissant Sovereign Grand Commander, Supreme Council of the United States, Western Jurisdiction.

District Deputies are responsible for promoting and advocating the Scottish Rite in their District. The Orient of Virginia (Valley) itself regulates the adminstration of the 4-32 Scottish Rite Degrees.

There are current vacancies for district deputy assigments in the Orient of Virginia.  Appointments will be made by the Supreme Council once information is received by the Orient of Virginia or by private nomination of 33' of the Rite.   Nominations can only be done with the Western Jurisdiction.
